HusCompagniet to construct 106 semi-detached housing units in the new residential area Gartnerhaven in Hvidovre

HusCompagniet and property developer Thylander’s fund Build for Life have entered a turnkey contract for the construction of 106 semi-detached housing units comprising 46 terraced houses in two storeys and 60 apartments for ‘Gartnerhaven’, a new residential area in Hvidovre.
Subject to final approval from Hvidovre municipality, the project is scheduled to commence mid-2025 with hand-over at end-2026. The turnkey contract is expected to generate revenue of approximately DKK 140 million, with the majority of revenue being recognised in 2026.
The construction of the housing units will be based on wood elements, facades, and roof cassettes from HusCompagniet’s factory in Esbjerg. The project will be DGNB gold certified and will meet the Thylander Build for Life fund requirements of total CO2 emissions from the 106 housing units to be at least 30% lower than limits set out in the existing Danish building regulations.

The project does not affect HusCompagniet’s 2024 outlook, which is unchanged with expected revenue of DKK 2.3-2.4 billion, EBITDA of DKK 90-120 million, and EBIT of DKK 40-70 million.
